London Gets its Flat Iron

Planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of the former Hog in the Pound public House. The proposals are for a mixed use retail, office and residential building fronting Oxford St and adjoining Bond Street Underground station. Sean Slade of Appley commented ‘ The completed proposals will present a very contemporary solution to this highly prominent site which attracts an annual footfall of over 24 million people. We expect considerable interest from International retailers looking to gain exposure to one of the World’s most famous shopping streets.’
