Gresham Real Estate Fund and Appley are pleased to announce the letting of Challenger House Whitechapel, E1 to Qbic Hotels. The building offers circa 55,000 sq ft and was previously a multi-let office building. Now that planning has been achieved works to fit out the building will commence. Qbic have entered a 25 year lease. This will be the second hotel in the Group following the opening of its first hotel in Amsterdam. Sean Slade commented "Qbic are exactly the type of occupier we wanted to see in this building. They offer a very high level of design in rooms at affordable rates. We believe that the hotel will act as a catalyst for further developments and will certainly assist with our development proposals on the adjoining site".
